WELCOME to my blog—a place to live loud, live colorfully, and live with heART! I am letting creativity flourish in my life as I make art of various kinds, as I pursue dreams, and as I surround myself with beautiful things and other creative people. In addition to many forms of art, I will also share blog posts (and photos) about home decor, fun food, making gifts, and more.
I am in my second half of life. I am a sometimes-too-independent wife and an always-so-proud mom of 7 children, most of whom are grown and wandering the world. I am a voracious reader, a dream-chaser, a wounded hope-er, a born-teacher and a nomadic gypsy (in my heart). I prefer to live life “outside the box” and I hate being expected to color inside the lines.
I started blogging as a way to ponder life as I celebrated “My Personal Year of Jubilee,” headed toward my 50th birthday in May 2012. If you are interested in that journey, check out the archives of my original blog here.
We spent three years living and working in a remote area of Navajoland (2010-2012). If you would like to see photos and read about that experience, check out the archives (and very rare new posts) on this blog.
If you want to see lots of color and hear about my ideas and thoughts as I create art and practice creativity, stick with me here on this blog! Please grab an RSS feed or sign up for email notifications so you don’t miss anything.
